The integration of Macedonia in the EU has been discussed by the Croatian PM Andrej Plenkovic at his meeting with the French President Emanuel Macron, the Croatian news agency HINA reports. Plenkovic and Macron exchanged opinions about the changing of the enlargement methodology of the EU, focusing on the integration of Macedonia and Albania, and discussed the priorities of the EU in the upcoming period after 1 January 2020, when Croatia is to take over the presidency of the EU. As Plenkovic informed, the next EU summit will be organised in Zagreb in May 2020, and that the heads of the 6 states candidates for EU membership from South-East Europe will also be invited.
