PM Kovacevski Meets Bulgarian Counterpart Petkov in Rome

PM Dimitar Kovacevski and his Bulgarian counterpart, Kiril Petkov, held a meeting in Rome on Monday. According to Kovacevski, the meeting was exceptionally constructive and saw multiple topics discussed. However, he said that it couldn’t be currently said whether progress was achieved in terms of finding a mutually acceptable document with Bulgaria. The talks between the two countries’ Foreign Ministries’ teams of experts will continue, Kovacevski noted. If there is a mutually acceptable document, according to the PM, it will be presented publicly. After the meeting, Petkov stated that what was most important to the two Governments is them having constructive dialogue and it continuing. As he added, they haven’t assumed an obligations for any deadlines, while they only want to keep the good tine and for the Ministries to continue to work.
