PM Zoran Zaev has confirmed his intention to dismiss State Market Inspectorate Director Stojko Paunovski for the refusal to employ 35 persons on the basis of the Ohrid Framework Agreement. “The decision will be made according to public regulations, but I will not allow non-respect for the laws even though Paunovski is a friend of mine,” Zaev pointed out on Monday. Before the session, the PM will meet the Inspectorate employees and receive their petition in which they express support for Paunovski. Zaev believes that Paunovski didn’t act according to the law and Code of Ethics. “Paunovski was informed of the K-5 Programme,” he stressed. Zaev nonetheless added that there was an open possibility for a change of the stand after the meeting and session.
