PM Zoran Zaev has received a letter from Joseph Biden. In it, US President-elect thanks Zaev for the congratulations on his election. On his behalf and on that of Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris, with the gratitude for the congratulations, he highlights that he is taking office amidst exceptionally serious global challenges – from the coronavirus to climate change – that transcend national borders and that require international cooperation, the Macedonian Government says in the press-release. Biden expects intensive cooperation with Zaev on those and other issues of interest to both countries and peoples.
