The PM Zoran Zaev addressed his regards to the Army of Macedonia (ARM) on occasion 18 August, the Day when ARM was established back in 1992. “It all started with the establishment of the first partisan battalion “Mirce Acev” back in 1943, which later evolved in the People’s Liberation Army (NOB), so that today, 76 years later, we have our national army, which has achieved a very high professional level, and is ready to become part of the allied forces of NATO. Our soldiers have proven that North Macedonia is ready to become the 30th NATO member-state, and on behalf of the government of North Macedonia and my personal behalf, I thank them for all their contributions to the security of our country,” Zaev wrote in his greetings. Greeting also came from the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski. “We are aware that you are currently working in rather bad conditions and for that we all need to work together so that the entire situation, not only in ARM, but the entire country, is improved,” Mickoski says in his regards.
