PPO Freezes Bank Account in Monaco of Concessioner of Dialysis Centres

The Basic Public Prosecution (PPO) has issued an order for halt of money transfers for sale of a legal entity worth around 11 million euros. “PPO acquired information that the legal entity which has concession over the dialysis centres in Macedonia has been expropriated, resulting in great money transfer to a bank account in Monaco, after which PPO submitted an official request to the Principality of Monaco for halting of the money transfer,” writes the announcement of PPO, adding that Monaco positively responded to their request, and that a Monegasque prosecutor will also be included in the investigation. PPO started the investigation in October 2018, after several associations of patients warned of illegal activities in the granting of concession for the dialysis centres.
