On Tuesday, President Stevo Pendarovski held a meeting in Skopje with the KFOR Commander, Major General Franco Federici. Aiming at efficient dealing with security challenges in the region, the readiness to advance mutual cooperation and exchange information of common interest was expressed at the meeting. Pendarovski and the KFOR Commander exchanged opinions about several topics, including the joint activities with KFOR forces. As Pendarovski pointed out, as a full-fledged member of NATO, the country will continue its participation in peacekeeping missions led by the EU, UN, and NATO. He added that the Army would continue to contribute to global security, peace, and stability.
