On Friday, President Stevo Pendarovski met US Ambassador Angela Aggeler.
They said bilateral relations had excellent dynamism, according to the long-lasting friendship between Skopje and Washington, in the spirit of the strategic partnership and alliance in the frames of NATO.
They also talked about the EU path and next steps that should be taken in that direction, as well as about the situation in the wider region in the context of the Russian aggression against Ukraine. Pendarovski said North Macedonia attached great importance to developing relations with the US.
He expressed assurance that the US support would continue in the period ahead, too, as a guarantee for peace, stability, and prosperity in the Western Balkans.
