VMRO-DPMNE isn’t afraid of a joint SDSM-DUI presidential candidate. “We are convinced that Gordana Siljanovska Davkova will win the presidential elections. The ruling party’s intra-party competition is a highly unserious move. It will have no effect during the election of a consensual candidate,” the opposition party said on Monday. The other Albanian parties, too, are starting negotiations. DPA announced it would support the government’s candidate, Alliance for Albanians and Bilall Kasami’s BESA will have an own candidate, while Alternative, the party with the new name led by Afrim Gashi, will choose, as Telma TV reported, one of the three options.
