The old primary school in Kuckovo village will be reconstructed and transformed into a regional centre for rehabilitation of children that have beaten cancer. The project is supported by the Ministry of Local Self-Government and Switzerland’s Government.
It will be implemented by the Centre for Development of the Skopje Planning Region in the frames of the project “The Story Continues”. Minister Risto Penov, who promoted the project on Monday, said it underlined the inclusion of children after beating cancer in the socio-cultural and educational life at a regional level.
“Through dialogue, we build confidence and awareness about differences, about a better quality of life and about creating conditions for a creative, social, and independent life through improved access to the service of primary education,” the Local Self-Government Minister stated.
