A delegation of MPs from the MP group for cooperation with the Slovenian Parliament, joined by parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, started their official visit of Slovenia. On Monday, Xhafri met his Slovenian counterpart Dejan Zidan, who congratulated the Macedonian Parliament on the adoption of the Prespa Agreement and the constitutional changes which secure the integration of Macedonia in NATO and EU. “The latest efforts made by Macedonia clearly prove that even the longest, most complicated disputes can be resolved in a peaceful way. Slovenia supports Macedonia in its Euro-Atlantic integrations, which is why it will be the first country after Greece to ratify the Protocol for Accession of Macedonia in NATO,” Zidan told Xhaferi. Later, Xhaferi also met the President of Slovenia Borut Pahor, with whom he discussed the ongoing political events in Macedonia. Pahor congratulated Xhaferi and the entire Macedonian nation the adoption of the Prespa Agreement and voiced support for Macedonia’s accession in NATO.
