The Bulgarian President Rumen Radev believes that the Bulgarian air fleet should take part in the guarding of the air space over Macedonia. “This is not only our national interest, but also a debt we have to pay to friendly and neighbouring North Macedonia. While we were waiting for “better times” for the Bulgarian army, Greece already concluded an agreement with North Macedonia for guarding its air space. With the potentials of our air fleet today, I believe we are strong enough to protect the air space over North Macedonia,” Radev said.
