The Albanian PM Edi Rama commented at a session of the Albanian Parliament the latest decisions made by EU member-state, who insist on separating the EU integration processes of Macedonia and Albania. “I understand very clearly the messages the EU member-state are sending to us, and I can see that they are not directed towards Albania as a state, but to its electorate. The crucial different between North Macedonia and Albania is the fact that in North Macedonia, despite open conflicts, the opposition still participates in parliamentary procedures, unlike the Albanian oppositions, which not only boycotts the work of the Albanian parliament, but also obstructed the recent election we had, and oppositions activist keep on working in Europe and with European institutions against the national interests of Albania,” Rama said.
