Reactions to IRL’s Documentary about Tetovo Hospital Fire Continue

BRAKO said on Saturday it was categorically refuting the Investigative Reporting Laboratory’s (IRL) “lies” concerning the modular hospitals.

According to the company, they were fully built and handed over according to the blueprints and documentation of the World Bank. As BRAKO added, if the structures were further equipped after the handover, that is not under the competence of the company. It stated that the documentary about the 2021 hospital fire had been used for business purposes.

In response, IRL said that BRAKO had displayed hate speech towards its journalists. BRAKO was criticised also by the Association of Journalists, Independent Trade Union of Journalists and Media workers, Media Ethics Council, and Media Institute.
