Romanian Delegate-Minister Ciamba in official visit of Macedonia

The Romanian Delegate-Minister for European Affairs George Ciamba visited Macedonia on Tuesday. During the day, Ciamba first met Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov, with whom he spoke about the European Perspectives of Macedonia during the Romanian presidency of the European Council, which starts on 1 January 2019. Dimitrov told Ciamba that Macedonia is working hard on the implementation of all necessary reforms, including the Prespa Agreement, for becoming a member-state of the EU and NATO. Later in the day, Ciamba met the Vice-PM for European Affairs Bujar Osmani, with whom he discussed the challenges Macedonia faces on its way towards EU. “Romania is a great supporter of Macedonia’s European integration, and today’s visit of their Delegate-Minister for European Affairs George Ciamba is a clear indication for that,” Osmani said. The Vice-PM presented to Ciamba the progress Macedonia has made with the implementation of the Prespa Agreement, as well as the reformation plans 3-6-9 and 18.
