The Russian Embassy in Skopje issued an official reaction to the claims promoted by President Stevo Pendarovski about alleged involvement and support by Russian centres of power to the ongoing protests in Skopje against the French proposal. “Russia never did and never will interfere in the internal affairs of any other country. We deny the claims addressed at our country about alleged involvement in the protests, for such actions go against the politics and philosophy of the Russian Federation. We respect and shall respect any choice the Macedonia people make, and we remain here to continue our good cooperation founded on mutual respect and equality,” the Russian Embassy writes.
