The President of the SCPC Biljana Ivanovska at Thursday’s debate with the government and foreign officials noted that the percentage of adopted recommendations of the activities is very small and insufficient for successful management of corruption. “From the analysis of the implementation of the recommendations of the SCPC by the Government and the competent ministries, we found a low level of implementation of the recommendations, about 30 percent, which is very low for successful management of corruption,” Ivanovska stated. Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, after saying that the fight against corruption must be intensified, called for an investigation into the scandal revealed by Anticorruption – that an elevator servicing company won about 90 tenders with forgeries, mainly from public institutions, which paid with money from budget.
