SCPC to Investigate Suspicions Around Procurement of Vaccines from China

The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) decided to take actions for gathering more information concerning suspicions about claims in the media in Macedonia that the government engaged a fictive company based in Hong Kong for procurement of COVID-19 vaccines from Chinese producer Sinopharm. SCPC President Biljana Ivanovska said that they will gather information and analyse the circumstances, and that other institutions like the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office should also analyse the indications in the media.
