SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE Continue to Trade Accusations

According to SDSM, VMRO-DPMNE’s actions prove why elections and a new, political government are needed. Kostadin Kostadinov, spokesperson for the ruling party, said at a press-conference on Tuesday that caretaker Interior Minister Nakje Culev had considered defending the opposition party’s leader, Hristijan Mickoski, to be more important than protecting the health of citizens. SDSM believes that Mickoski is doing everything to prevent elections from being held, to keep the country in uncertainty, and to create a political crisis only because he is afraid of the election defeat he will suffer. According to VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, August and September are options when the citizens’ health will not face danger. He said it was a fact that the election day deal should be reached through compromise.
