According to SDSM President Zoran Zaev, citizens have levelled clear criticism, warning, and punishment at his party. “We are understanding and accepting that voice. There is no longer tolerance for repeating the same mistakes,” he said on Wednesday. Zaev added that the ruling party listened to citizens. “From Monday, we start a process to redefine and advance the channels to interact with citizens. SDSM listens to and believes the people. From this moment on, we are changing for citizens. We’ve received a yellow card by the citizens. Whether it will become a red one depends on how much we will listen to their voice. I’m asking a chance for the country and society. I am asking for us to unite and unify so that Skopje and the country don’t go back. We will become more accessible to citizens,” the SDSM leader pointed out. Zaev doesn’t fear a new parliamentary majority because in his view, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski has a problem with even maintaining the opposition.
