At its session on Thursday, the State Election Commission (SEC) rejected all six complaints filed by Levica because the party didn’t include material evidence. Levica’s representative said that his party was aware of its oversight in terms of there not being evidence. However, as he added, Levica, as a smaller party without a lot of resources, cannot train its staff and observers, but wants to point to irregularities. The SEC rejected also the complaint filed by LDP and DOM, as well as the Democratic Party of Turks’ ones. VMRO-DPMNE, SDSM, and DUI withdrew their complaints over the first round of the local elections. The same day, the SEC said the frail, people with COVID or in self-isolation should register again to vote in the second round.
