Second Press by Mickoski: Government Should Immediately Publish Proposal

VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski held a second press-conference Thursday, after PM Dimitar Kovacevski answered journalist’s questions regarding the French proposal that arrived at the Government. “It is a lie by the Government that they were not acquainted with the proposal, it is also a lie that they now present this as a great success, while we have not seen and read it. Based on the information we have, only two words have changed, i.e. if we had a knockout before, now we have a knockout with a prolonged effect. Where does Edi Rama get that information about the proposal is the second reason, and the first is that the resigned Bulgarian government immediately accepted it. If Radev immediately agreed to the proposal, then it is only a semantic change of words,” said Mickoski. “VMRO-DPMNE will never accept a harmful agreement, and the Government should immediately announce the proposal, not to hide it,” said Mickoski. The red lines for the party, as the leader of VMRO-DPMNE pointed out, are Macedonian language without conditions and without footnotes. “The red lines of VMRO-DPMNE are that we will not accept, neither in the negotiation framework nor in any EU document, the Macedonian language not to be anything other than the Macedonian language, without any footnotes, without any unilateral statements, without any additions, subtractions or bids. Macedonian language without conditions and without footnotes. Everything else, including some protocols, including the Good Neighbourly Agreement, cannot be part of the negotiation framework,” Mickoski concluded.
