Sekerinska and Rowell Pay Official Visit to Krivolak

Defence Minister Radmila Sekerinska, joined by representatives of the Army of North Macedonia and from the US Embassy, paid an official visit to the Krivolak military training grounds, where she took insight in the ongoing reconstructions of different objects on several locations. “The investments in the infrastructure of Krivolak have made it one of the best military training grounds not only in this region, but entire Europe as well. In 2022 it will host seven different international military exercises, in which over 5,200 soldiers from different countries will take part, the greatest of them being SWIFT RESPONSE, which will include over 4,000 soldiers from the armies of the US, the UK, France, Italy, Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia,” Sekerinska said. Senior Defence Official and Defence Attaché at the US Embassy in Skopje Peter Rowell said that Krivolak is being developed in the best NATO area for military exercises in Europe. “Our assistance provided for the development of Krivolak is one of the best demonstrations for the excellent cooperation we nourish over the years, and especially now as NATO partners. I am very proud that we developed projects that improved the ground’s capacities,” Rowell said.
