Leader of the Alliance for Albanians (AA) Ziadin Sela announced on Sunday afternoon that he is officially withdrawing from the top position in the party. The decision for Sela’s withdrawal was made during a meeting of the central board of the party, following the local election in Tetovo, at which AA did not manage to win a single seat in the municipal council. “I shall no longer run for the position of party leader, first because according to the party’s statute one can be party leader only in two consecutive mandates and not more, and due to the bad results for AA at the local election in Tetovo,” Sela said at a press conference.
