Commenting on the Bulgaria issue, Foreign Minister Osmani has called for the provocations to stop because the deteriorated relations are hindering the constitutional changes procedure. “The arguments are on our side. We have a clean file in the field of rights of ethnic communities,” the Minister said on Tuesday, adding that Skopje would not allow itself to enter the whirlpool of the Bulgarian elections. The previous day, President Stevo Pendarovski, too, had said he believed Sofia had used revolutionary Goce Delcev’s birthday to raise tensions. However, the caretaker Foreign Minister of Bulgaria, Nikolay Milkov, alleged on Tuesday that North Macedonia’s authorities were those that had seriously damaged bilateral relations.
