Borce Stamov, member of the initiative board within VMRO-DPMNE that demands resignation of party leader Hristijan Mickoski, called upon Mickoski once again to resign. “The previous two leaders of VMRO-DPMNE, Ljubco Georgievski and Nikola Gruevski, resigned from the party leader position in the times when the party was facing difficulties and defeats on terrain. In order to avoid further discord within the party, we call upon Mickoski to schedule a party congress at which he will resign from the top position in the party as soon as possible. As leader, Mickoski did not manage to bring a single victory in favour of VMRO-DPMNE, hence we believe that the time is right for him to withdraw from the top party position,” Stamov said.
