President Stevo Pendarovski declared on Saturday the extension of the state of emergency by another 14 days to June 13 due to the recent increase in coronavirus cases in the country. Caretaker PM Oliver Spasovski said that government’s top priority is protecting public health. “All measures it has adopted have been in line with protecting citizens’ health and the healthcare system, as well as making sure institutions function properly and ensuring public order, in order to manage the corona crisis,” Spasovski stressed.
