NATO and allied forces continue to support the civilian response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After Macedonia and the Czech Republic, Albania and Montenegro are receiving ventilators and medical supplies, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced on his Twitter account. “#NATO and Allied militaries continue to support the civilian response to the #COVID-19 pandemic. The Czech Republic, Albania and Montenegro are receiving ventilators & medical supplies from the stockpile. On Friday, North Macedonia received 60 ventilators,” Stoltenberg announced on Twitter. On Friday, 30 October, NATO delivered 60 ventilators to Skopje as part of Alliance support to tackle the pandemic. The donation was coordinated by NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre.
