The trial over the alleged organisation of the 27 April 2017 storming of Parliament continued on Tuesday. Former Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski, who’s among the defendants, said in his closing arguments that the Prosecutor’s Office hadn’t proven at all that there had been a plan, nor that he had participated in some alleged plan. As he added, he didn’t have any contacts at all with former Security and Counter-Intelligence Administration Director Vladimir Atanasovski. “I had contacts with Mile Janakieski during his time as Transport and Communications Minister,” Veljanoski added. Lawyer Elenko Milanov, who represents most of the defendants, stated that 27 April 2017 had seen violence, not endangerment of security.
