The former Greek PM Alexis Tsipras said in an interview for the local Greek TV station TRT that current Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis would have accepted the Prespa Agreement even if he was in power during the period it was signed. “I am sure that Mitsotakis would’ve signed that Agreement with three hands if he could. He and his party were calling the Prespa Agreement a “treaty of traitors” while they were in opposition, but now that he is in power he claims that he will respect the Agreement. I cannot deny that he is doing the right thing now, but I am sure that his hypocrisy shall be condemned by the Greek people,” Tsipras said.
