The United States and the EU share the same values and enable the acquisition of knowledge and experience of young people in Macedonia in order to support political and economic development, support for reforms that are primarily important to the citizens. This was said by US Ambassador Kate Marie Byrnes and EU Ambassador David Geer at Thursday’s panel discussion “US Alumni Exchange and EU Erasmus Plus Programs: Exchange of Experience and Knowledge”, organized by the Macedonian-American Alumni Association MAAA and the European Union. In her address, Ambassador Byrnes expressed hope that they would take the opportunity to bring the knowledge gained from the United States here. Ambassador Geer emphasized that the Erasmus+ program is the most successful platform that the EU has for all students through the opportunities it offers both at the educational and professional level.
