The Parliament, even with the tight agenda, has done much in the past two years toward the independence, transparency and functionality, confirmed the Report on the country’s progress. It is fully deserved to expect the decision by the Council in October to be a positive one, concluded the Deputy Chief of the European Union Delegation in Skopje, Julian Vassallo, at yesterday’s meeting with PS Talat Xhaferi. Namely, the meeting marked the conclusion to the two-year project financed by the EU “Support of Parliament in implementation of reforms”. Xhaferi welcomed and thanked the new Deputy Chief of the European Union Delegation in Skopje, Vassallo and gave a brief introduction into the past period of cooperation with the EU Delegation. According to the public relations department at Parliament the Strategic Plan for further and future improvement of the functionality of Parliament was also discussed.
