The leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, did not comment on the announcements by DUI about an Albanian prime minister for the last 100 days of the Government’s mandate, but once again called on the government to go to elections in the spring. He offers May or the beginning of June as the deadline for early elections, and VMRO-DPMNE, as he said, is ready for an electoral confrontation without the requirement of 100 days of technical government. Early autumn elections are not an option for him, because the regular term for parliamentary and presidential elections is coming next year. For Prime Minister Kovacevski, the issue of early elections is closed. He reiterated that the elections will be held in regular time, first presidential and then parliamentary. He is convinced that SDSM will win those elections and the agreement for an Albanian prime minister will be respected. And he told the opposition VMRO-DPMNE to focus on local issues where they already have power.
