On Sunday, VMRO-DPMNE organised an event to mark the party’s 29th birthday. In his speech, the leader of the opposition party, Hristijan Mickoski, levelled fierce criticism at the current government. SDSM and its leader, PM Zoran Zaev, according to Mickoski, have embarked on a path from which they cannot return. “VMRO-DPMNE is getting stronger and stronger by the day,” the opposition leader noted. In addition, Mickoski said the government had unsuccessfully tried to crush the Macedonians’ spirit. “Zaev’s days are numbered. Nobody has defeated a people,” the VMRO-DPMNE leader stressed. Mickoski considers that the European perspective of Macedonia has been destroyed.
