VMRO-DPMNE Central Committee Voices Support for Leader Mickoski

The central committee of VMRO-DPMNE held a session on Tuesday evening. As news web portal Kurir.mk reports, the Central Committee authorised and supported party leader Hrisitjan Mickoski to conduct the negotiations for future alliances and formation of the new ruling majority in Macedonia. In his address before the committee members, Mickoski pledged that he will do all in his power to secure a majority for formation of the new government. “Still, I shall not accept conditions and blackmail of any kind. VMRO-DPMNE has well-defined red lines which we have no intention to cross. These lines represent the ideals for building the modern Macedonian state, and we shall never give up on them,” Mickoski said. At the same time, the Central Committee has removed Nikola Gruevski’s status as the party’s honorary president.
