VMRO-DPMNE Criticises Persons Party Says are Ambassadorial Nominees

VMRO-DPMNE has criticised the Government and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani over, as it said, the decision by the Government on Tuesday to appoint new ambassadors. According to the party, the draft-candidates for London, Belgrade, Bucharest, Sarajevo, and Prague are Katerina Stavrevska, Nikola Tupanceski, Andrej Zernovski, Jakup Rexhepi, and Emil Krstevski, respectively. VMRO-DPMNE levelled fierce accusations at all five persons. According to the party’s press-release, Stavrevska, a former chief of cabinet of Radmila Sekerinska, was responsible, based on statements by Defence Ministry employees, for mobbing within the institution. “The public was able to see how Stavrevska and her boss, Sekerinska, are misusing a state helicopter for a walk and tasting of wines,” VMRO-DPMNE pointed out. Regarding Tupanceski, the party criticised his term as Justice Minister and asked also whether he was being sent to Belgrade because he couldn’t speak a foreign language. Hristijan Mickoski’s party says regarding former Deputy Foreign Minister and ex-Centar Mayor Andrej Zernovski that the plan until a month ago had been for him to be sent to Belgrade.
