VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski commented on Thursday on his meetings in Brussels. “Over the past two days here, in Brussels, we have had exceptionally significant and useful meetings for VMRO-DPMNE, but also for the Republic of Macedonia, because we’ve basically familiarised our interlocutors with the true and real situation in the Republic of Macedonia, about what the real reality is for the Republic of Macedonia, but also for all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia. During the Parliamentary Assembly yesterday, we had very useful meetings with a big number of presidents of sister parties of ours that are part of our family, that are part of the European People’s Parties family, I had several meetings with MEPs that are part of our sister parties within the frameworks of the European People’s Party and we talked, in general, about all that reality in the Republic of Macedonia, about the political persecution happening to the political non-like-minded persons, mainly opposition thinkers in the Republic of Macedonia,” he said.
