VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski paid a visit to Belasica Mountain on Saturday. During the visit, he talked about the five Strumica students who were close to VMRO’s ideas and killed on 13 August 1951 near the village of Dorlombos by the then-authorities. “Pecev, Belev, Jaramov, Topcev and Kosturanov are the five young lives that were at that time dreaming about a European Macedonia. A Macedonia that will be independent. A Macedonia that will be proud. A Macedonia that will stand straight instead of being humiliated and degraded. The years after that would be a testament to their activism, but also about their heroic deed while they were alive. From the place where the five patriots’ path to no return starts, I urge you to join me along the path which saw the end of the young lives, but not of the idea for Macedonia to be a modern, proud and dignified country,” he stressed.
