VMRO-DPMNE to Abstain from Voting on Education Laws

The rejection of the two amendments is the reason why VMRO-DPMNE will abstain from voting on the laws concerning primary and secondary education. As the opposition said on Monday, computers should be provided for every child or, at least, for those with special needs. MPs from Hristijan Mickoski’s party believe that there should also be a screening process concerning COVID-19 for all teachers and professors prior to the start of the school year. Education Minister Mila Carovska said the remote learning process would take place only in extraordinary circumstances.
