On Sunday, VMRO-DPMNE’s Union of Women held its Annual Conference. “Unfortunately or fortunately, the battle for an identity isn’t over because one cannot erase a people with a pen,” Blagica Lasovska, President of the Union, said, adding that the identity was deeply rooted. In that regard, she pointed out that the identity would outlive “these injustices”. VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski was among those who delivered a speech, too. He fiercely criticised the SDSM-led government over many issues. The VMRO-DPMNE leader also commented on the presidential race. In that regard, Mickoski said his party’s candidate, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, would protect the country’s interests and justice. The goal, he added, is victory. Siljanovska Davkova herself delivered an address. She stated that she would find many legal reasons to challenge what had been happening in terms of the name change for internal use.
