VMRO-DPMNE has urged State Commission for Prevention of Corruption to open a procedure concerning the employment of Transport and Communications Minister Blagoj Bocvarski’s wife and her sister by the Stip Hospital. “There are strong indications that this is about nepotism, about abuse of office, about playing the employment system without a competition,” Spokesperson Naum Stoilkovski said on Monday. According to him, considering the Minister and the SDS-led Government are silent about the case, the Commission has to answer several questions, including whether the employments were approved by SDSM member Alen Georgijev, who is the Director of the Hospital. “Macedonia is drowning in corruption, which is leading to scary and deep poverty,” Stoilkovski stressed.
