In an interview with Sitel TV, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski says that his party wants the country to get a date in June as far as the EU path is concerned. “However, such a thing is unfortunately most likely not possible becaus ethe EU sees the degree to which crime and corruption rule in our country, while those are not surely the values that will help the Republic of Macedonia on the path towards EU integrations,” he points out. When it comes to the Skopje-Sofia dispute, Mickoski believes that PM Zoran Zaev is ready to sign everything with Bulgaria. The opposition leader’s stand is that the citizens deserve to know what’s being negotiated with the eastern neighbour. In the interview, Mickoski fiercely criticised the ruling structure over other issues as well, including the plans for the new Clinic Centre and the alleged extortion in the frames of REK Bitola.
