VMRO-DPMNE’s Mickoski Starts Visit to Brussels

In the frames of their visit to Brussels, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski, together with the party’s Vice-President, Aleksandar Nikoloski, and International Secretary Timco Mucunski, held a meeting with MEP Marco Campomenosi, who heads the League Delegation in the EP. They talked about deepening relations between the two parties and countries. According to Mickoski, North Macedonia, wanting progress, must stay on the integration path. As he added, the country met the criteria to start EU negotiations as early as 2009. Also, the opposition leader criticised the current ruling structure led by PM Zoran Zaev over, as it was said, the developments related to Bulgaria, corruption, poverty, and lack of education and healthcare reform. Also, Mickoski invited League leader Matteo Salvini to visit Skopje. According to Mickoski, North Macedonia needs the European integration in order to ensure the future.
