VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski, upon an own request, had a phone
conversation with President Stevo Pendarovski on Wednesday. They agreed to hold a
meeting on Friday at which they will talk about the issue of those convicted in the 27
April case, as well as about the current economic and political developments. According
to VMRO-DPMNE, it isn’t demanding mercy for those convicted in the case, but rather a
trial over what they did, not over what they didn’t do. According to Mickoski, justice
should be equal for everyone. When it comes to the Skopje-Sofia issue, the opposition
party’s stand is that unity and a joint document of all stakeholders that there shouldn’t be
negotiations on certain matters is necessary.
