PS Talat Xhaferi met with the newly appointed British ambassador to the country, Matthew Lawson, during which he wished him a successful mandate, expressing his satisfaction with the excellent cooperation with the British embassy, as well as his commitment to nurturing strong relations in almost 30 years of established diplomatic relations. With the ratification of the Accession Protocols of Sweden and Finland to the North Atlantic Treaty, President Xhaferi underlined that the Parliament sent clear and unequivocal support to these two friendly countries in their aspirations for NATO membership, for which Ambassador Lawson expressed great satisfaction. Ambassador Lawson thanked for the meeting made possible, as the first one after the presentation of the credentials, which emphasizes his professional, but also personal determination to establish and maintain continuous relations with the Parliament, through active engagement at all levels
