Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferi, stated that the request of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE to hold a session of parliamentary questions on Thursday, 30 December, is pointless. Xhaferi reminded that he answered this question on the 23rd of this month, after their procedural intervention. “According to the previously agreed coordination, 23 December was consensually determined to be the day of holding parliamentary questions, and thus completes the obligation of Parlaiment to plan the activity arising as an obligation from the Rules of Procedure. The request is pointless and I think it will be returned with this explanation, because as we said the Government is resigning and the mandate of government representatives has been terminated, and on parliamentary questions, according to the Rules of Procedure at any cost should be present the Prime Minister, for which there is no mandate at the moment. So that cannot be expected,” Xhaferi stressed.
