The PM Zoran Zaev is optimistic that the ruling parties and the opposition will reach an agreement over the adoption of the Draft-law on Public Prosecution. The negotiating teams of both sides are to have a new meeting on Monday. “I believe the current issues can be overcome and that our teams can reach agreement. Nothing is impossible if we all demonstrate responsibility towards the state, without crossing our red lines, i.e. the secure future of the cases processed by the Special Public Prosecution (SPO). The law already contains around 80 % of the changes VMRO-DPMNE insisted on, so I am certain that once the groups reach agreement, the law will be adopted by the Parliament,” Zaev said.
