PM Zoran Zaev and his Greek counterpart, Alexis Tsipras, will on Tuesday in Skopje be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by 2015 winner Ouided Bouchamaoui. Three years ago, Bouchamaoui was one of the four recipients representing the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet. The nomination will be presented at a ceremony that will be held at 11 am at FON University, where Bouchamaoui received in March the title of Honorary Professor. “I see the Prespa Agreement, in which the signatories and mediators invested huge energy, as an exceptionally significant process that deserves to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize,” she said on Monday in Skopje. Also, she pointed to the stand presented by UN Sec Gen Antonio Guterres that the deal is an example which can be a model to resolve problems in the world. The same day, within the frameworks of her visit to the Macedonian capital, Bouchamaoui, together with Greek MEP Stelios Kouloglou met, among others, PS Talat Xhaferi and MPs from the independent group of VMRO-DPMNE.
