PM, Zoran Zaev met with Director-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Christian Danielsson, where they discussed about the furthering of the regional cooperation which was inspired by the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic and PMs Zoran Zaev and Edi Rama. According to the government press-service, during the meeting this initiative has been encourage because it is in accordance to the Berlin process, and even more so because of the insisting in it to be included all Western Balkan countries. Danielsson, as the press-release says conveyed to PM Zaev the message by the new EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, that EC remains with unconditional support for the start of the negotiations with Macedonia. The meeting was also attended by EU Ambassador, Samuel Zbogar.
