Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama in an open letter called to all countries in the region to join the Open Balkans initiative. “We take this opportunity to once again call on all our neighbours to join us in offering our citizens the benefits we offer to our citizens,” reads the open letter, ahead of the next meeting of the Open Balkans initiative which is scheduled for 20 and 21 December in Tirana. It is stated that, although the Open Balkans initiative so far covers only North Macedonia, Serbia and Albania, it was and will remain open to all in the Western Balkans, the letter emphasizes.
